E Sports Competition Pilot Program

Over the past four weeks, a group of enthusiastic students from Good 榴莲成人app下载 Lutheran College have been actively participating in an exciting E-Sports Competition Pilot Program. Organised by Dylan Bennett from The Array, an innovation hub in Smith Street, Darwin, this initiative is paving the way for a new era in school-based competitive gaming.

The competition kicked off with GSLC hosting Palmerston College for a thrilling match of Rocket League in Round 1. In Round 2, our students headed to Palmerston College for a rematch, demonstrating teamwork and skill. For Round 3, the stakes were raised as GSLC and Palmerston College linked up online, welcoming Haileybury School to join the battle.

Now, all eyes are set on the Rocket League Grand Final, which will take place at Dripstone High School on December 3rd. Our teams are geared up and ready to compete, aiming to claim victory in this inaugural league event.

A huge thank you goes to The Array for their incredible support throughout this program. Specialising in technology education, The Array has collaborated with the Department of Industry, Tourism, and Trade to create an E-Sports League for schools in the Top End. Their provision of high-quality hardware and supported online connectivity has made this program a reality, allowing students to engage in innovative and collaborative gaming experiences.

Stay tuned for updates from the Grand Final!
